TechConnect Launches Tech Trailblazers Speaker Series

With the goal of highlighting women and minorities in the technology fields, TechConnect has launched the Tech Trailblazers Speaker Series.

The inaugural event will take place virtually at 1pm on Wednesday, April 23rd and features Lindsey Clagg, a lead engineer with Booz Allen Hamilton in Huntington. Her presentation, “You’re Allowed to Take Up Space”, will focus on Imposter Syndrome: how someone develops it and tangible ways to overcome it.

Throughout their lives, women are conditioned to step back in the name of fitting in or being perceived as cooperative even if it is to a fault. Clagg’s goal is to empower women to assert themselves, know they earned that seat at the table, and they might actually hold some of the most valuable input in the room.
